Steven Broncheau Named Linn-Benton Community College Foundation Director
Linn-Benton Community College has named Steven Broncheau the next LBCC Foundation Director. Broncheau will lead the Foundation and the Institutional Advancement team at the college. He will also work closely with donors to build and strengthen relationships between the LBCC Foundation and the communities it serves.
“We are excited to have Steven as the next Foundation Director,” said LBCC Foundation President Chris Hanson. “Throughout the extensive interview process, his experience and passion for community colleges really came through. We are confident he is the right person to lead the Foundation.”
Broncheau brings over 15 years of non-profit experience to LBCC. Most recently, he served as Co-Director/Director of Development for Nesika Wilamut where he helped to ensure ongoing operations by writing grants and creating a development and fundraising plan. He also helped to build and maintain relationships with partners up and down the Willamette River Basin. Broncheau attended Chemeketa Community College and Western Oregon University, where he graduated with a degree in International Business with a focus on finance and a German Minor.
“It is personally very fulfilling to be a part of a team working towards empowering students to reach their educational goals,” said Broncheau. “As a community college graduate myself, I know the road to earning a degree can be much more difficult to achieve without the extra financial assistance from scholarships. I look forward to working with the LBCC Foundation to help students achieve their dreams and create a better tomorrow by empowering them today.”
