TITLE: SICK LEAVE
To support the physical and financial health of eligible employees by providing for periodic time-off with salary continuation for those who are unable to work due to a short-term illness or injury.
BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES
Sick leave for employees who are subject to collective bargaining agreements shall be governed by the respective agreements; failing such provisions, board policies and administrative rules for non-bargaining employees shall apply.
NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES
The Board directs the president to establish and maintain administrative rules and procedures to ensure there is a consistent process for leave with salary continuation for eligible employees who experience absences from duty related to illness or injury.
