Unity Celebration

The 8th Annual “Unity Celebration” is Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in the Fireside Room from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

This exciting event brings together folks who work to promote diversity and social justice! This year’s event will feature poems from LBCC’s Poetry Club and we will also recognize individuals and organizations whose work establishes unity and inclusivity on our campus and surrounding community.

The Awards are as follows:

  • Gary Westford Community Connection Award: Presented to an individual or organization whose work with diversity, inclusion, social justice and equity contributes to the college and community.
  • Nominations for the awards are open through February 9, 2017.
