Linn-Benton Lunch Box
Emergency Food for Students in Need
The student leadership council, in partnership with the Roadrunner Resource Center, has created a grocery store gift card program to help LBCC students with immediate food security needs.
The Linn-Benton Lunch Box (LBLB) grocery gift card is available to any currently enrolled student. These cards are $100 for Safeway stores, and can be requested once per academic term.
The Linn-Benton Lunch Box does not compete with other food banks in the community. Receiving assistance from LBLB will not prevent students from receiving assistance from community food banks in the area.
To receive assistance from LBLB please do one of the following:
- Request assistance online by clicking the following link: LBLB Food Cards.
- Visit the Student Life & Leadership office in Forum 120 (downstairs northeast corner of the courtyard; look for the blue and white window graphics) during normal business hours Monday to Friday.
OR
- Contact Roadrunner Resource Center at resources@linnbenton.edu, 541-917-4375, or 541-990-6412.
Students can pick up this grocery card in-person at the Albany campus, or ask to have it mailed to their home address.
*Use of the LBLB is for LBCC students and their dependents only.
