Student Help Desk
If you do not have internet access and/or a device capable of completing online assignments at home, please call the library at (541) 917-4630 or email libref@linnbenton.edu for help troubleshooting access to these resources.
The Student Help Desk assists students with most computer software-related issues and other technology problems or questions, from login problems related to LBCC’s online systems to questions about course-related instructional software. We also check out laptops and provide assistance to anyone using library equipment like our 3D printer, scanners, photocopiers, etc.
The Student Help Desk is located in the LBCC Library on the Albany campus.

Office 365
Microsoft Office 365 is free for all LBCC students (for the duration of time that they are students) and staff.
In order to get started, go to the Office 365 website, enter your LBCC email address (you cannot use your personal email address), and
click on "Get Started."
If you are a student, click on "I'm a Student." If you are staff/faculty, please click
on "I'm a Teacher."
Check your LBCC email to complete your setup.
Follow the link, then complete the form.

You're almost done. If you wish to use the Office online apps, you can begin doing
so. If you wish to install the application on your personal computer, click on "Install
Office 365" on the top right of the screen. The website will download a setup.exe
file to your computer. Click on the file on the bottom of the screen and click on
"Run" when prompted.
