  • Why Should You Go into Nursing Assistant?

A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is an integral part of the interdisciplinary health care system and the nursing team. A CNA works directly under the supervision and direction of a licensed nurse to care for clients in a variety of clinical settings. CNA's are an essential part of the health care team who give physical care and emotional support to clients under the direction of the licensed nurse. CNA's are listed as one of the top ten growing employment opportunities in our state and local communities.

The Nursing Assistant course at Linn-Benton Community College prepares the student to assist patients and family members with activities of daily living.
