Why Should You Go Into Accounting?
An Associate of Science in Accounting Technology or an Accounting Clerk Certificate can prepare you for a wide variety of jobs in the accounting field. Students entering these programs should have a high interest in business operations, demonstrate attention to detail, have a familiarity with computer software, and enjoy working in a team environment. Students can incorporate an interest in both healthcare and accounting by choosing the Healthcare Track in the Accounting Technology Associate of Science. Accounting technicians have the ability to work with and assist certified public accountants or provide independent accounting services.
