What can I do if I'm not satisfied with my scores?
If you are not satisfied with your placement scores, you have several options
Retake the assessment. If you're just a few points away from the next higher course, we recommend doing some refreshing and trying again. There is a $5.00 fee with each additional attempt, but a higher score could save you hundreds of dollars and several months of time.
Signup for Math Boot Camp to refresh your skills and try for a higher placement.
Register for Math Fast Track, which gives you the option of getting through several math courses in just one term.
Sign up for one of LBCC's accelerated options in Math or Writing.
I'm satisfied with my scores... what next?
Great! You're ready to register for classes. If you register for a math or writing class, remember that your choices will be limited by your placement scores.
