Working across cultures and different perspectives is both enriching and challenging. At LBCC, we value inclusiveness, learning, and engagement and thus we continue to work towards building stronger cultural competency and understanding which allows us to create more diverse and inclusive classroom environments.
The International Programs Office offers workshops and faculty development programs to offer support for the faculty who teach international students on our campus. We believe that International Education and engagement allows us all to be strong global citizens.
In 2016-17, we had a faculty development workshop on Creating Inclusive Practices for your Classroom to Increase International Student Engagement and Success with Erich White, the OSU Graduate Pathways Manager. Please join us for future workshops and development opportunities as we all work towards creating a more globalized classroom experience at LBCC.
