Early Alert Task Force - A comprehensive early alert system for LBCC requires: a notification system that enables instructors to suggest which students are at risk and possibly in what way; an assigned group to evaluate alerts and refer students to the appropriate services; and an established method to follow up with students post-referral for tracking and student feedback on services. This plan builds on our existing pilot projects and the new Student Information Center. It follows Guided Pathways by rejecting the “cafeteria” model we currently have for student services by targeting students for referral.

Multi-term Registration - Allow students to register for classes for more than one term at a time. New students would register only for Fall, in the Fall they register for Winter and Spring, and in the Spring they register for their next full year.
