AARP Driver Safety Program

For those over the age of 55

 

The AARP Smart Driver™ is designed as a refresher course. Completion of this class may result in a reduction in insurance premiums, depending on your insurance carrier.

Program helps drivers over the age of 55 to:

  • Improve their driving skills
  • Refresh basic driving rules and accident prevention
  • Gain safety skills on adverse road conditions
  • Learn the effects of aging and medications as relates to driving

    Meets from 9 a.m. to 3:20 p.m at Albany Senior Center, 489 Water Ave NW. Cost is $15 for AARP members, $20 for non-members. Bring the fee, your AARP card, and a lunch to class.

  • September 10

    Meets from 9 a.m. to 3:20 p.m at Albany Senior Center, 489 Water Ave NW. Cost is $15 for AARP members, $20 for non-members. Bring the fee, your AARP card, and a lunch to class.

  • August 5

    Meets from 9 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. at LBCC Benton Center, 757 NW Polk Ave., Corvallis. Cost is $15 for AARP members, $20 for non-members. Bring the fee, your AARP card, and a lunch to class.

  • September 5

    Meets from 9 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. at Lebanon Senior Center, 80 Tangent Street. Cost is $15 for AARP members, $20 for non-members. Bring the fee, your AARP card, and a lunch to class.
