Exercise and Sport Science

LBCC’s Exercise & Sport Science program is designed to provide you with knowledge of preventive and corrective health practices. For example, courses in this program include Introduction to Health and Physical Education, Lifetime Health and Fitness, and Social and Individual Health Determinants.

From there, courses such as Exercise and Weight Management, First Aid, and Stress Management allow you to apply the knowledge you’ve gained, so you can translate what you’ve learned into practical skill.

Physical activity coursework in this program offers a variety of activity classes, such as basketball, dance, bowling, golf, weight training, and yoga.
