Important message regarding Winter 2021 Driver Education classes:
Students, parents, and guardians, please read the following: The College is choosing to suspend all aspects of the Driver Education program this Winter term due to the following reasons.
- The rising cases of the COVID-19 virus across the State.
- The fact that Linn and Benton Counties have been placed on the extreme risk list on the State’s Risk and Protection Framework.
- The backlog of students in the Driver Education program from Summer and Fall terms
that still need to complete the driving portion of the program.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Know that it is our goal to get the Driver Education program back up and open for students and families just as soon as it is safely possible to do so.
-
If you’ve submitted registration materials for the Winter term, we will add your information to an interest list and email you when we can once again offer the Driver Education program.
-
We are still offering four Vehicle Safety courses winter term, which include Driver Permit Prep and the Getting into the Flow series.
- Please email your questions to Melissa Richey at richeym@linnbenton.edu
