Helping Students Stay in School

We know that life can happen at any time, and unexpected barriers can cause major disruptions to routine life. Maybe you lost your job or the current one you have isn’t paying the bills. Maybe you can’t find affordable childcare, and might have to drop out. Maybe you are at risk of losing your housing, or can’t afford to pay your utility bills.  Maybe money is tight and you can’t afford to put gas in the tank to get to school, or you need to see a doctor and don’t have healthcare.  These are just a few of the many things that can suddenly become a barrier, and might prevent a student from staying in school and reaching their dreams.

At the Roadrunner Resource Center, our job is to know the resources both on our campus and in our communities that can help support you when life happens. It is our job to know how to connect students to the resources that could mean the difference between staying in school, and dropping out.

Get Connected to Resources That Can Help With:

Use our Single Stop Tool to complete a quick profile to discover benefits and resources!  We'll use the basic information you enter to figure out what assistance you're eligible for (OHP, SNAP, WIC, TANF, and Tax Credits), and estimate how much those benefits can save you per year.  You can also browse available community resources in Linn and Benton counties, and connect with a Coordinator.  Click the button below to get started.
