The Animal Science program helps students learn more about how animals reproduce, grow, behave, and much more. Graduates will be prepared for entry-level positions and continued education at a four-year institution. Job opportunities may include:

  • Breeding
  • Farm Management
  • Livestock Production
  • Quality Control
  • Research
  • Veterinary Technology

Some of these careers may require additional education, such as a bachelor's degree. It is important that students identify their interests and work with an advisor to make sure they are on the right career path.

For more information about these careers, as well as the current employment outlook, visit the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Oregon Department of Agriculture websites.
