Priority Deadline Dates

PRIORITY DEADLINE DATES
What is a Priority Deadline?  In order for your financial aid award to be processed and reviewed by our office, you will need to have all of your required documentation in by the posted Priority Deadline.  Note: This means you will need to be at Step 4 listed on the Financial Aid Process page.

If you miss the Priority Deadline, we will still process your file, but you will be responsible to cover your own expenses (living and educational) until we are able to do so. Click here to view a pdf file with a more detailed explanation of your responsibilities.

Why are these Priority Deadline Dates Important to Me?

To avoid this stress and hassle, work hard to hit those deadlines to the left!

If you miss these deadlines, you’ll need to cover all of your tuition, fee, book and personal expenses yourself until we are able to review your file, and during heavy peak periods, files can take up to 8 weeks to award.

You might need to arrange a payment plan for tuition and fees with the Business Office if you don’t have money available.

If you decide to borrow funds from friends, family, etc., it is your responsibility to make re-payment arrangements, and we will not be able to “guarantee” when you will or even if you will have sufficient funds to repay those debt(s).

We are here to help you with any questions - stop by our office in Takena Hall or leave us a message at 541-917-4850 (calls are returned within 48 hours) or check out linnbenton.edu/financial-aid
