Struggling in Your Math Class?

Create a Success Plan with an Instructional Specialist.

Why might a success plan be right for you? A success plan is an optional support if you are struggling or falling behind in your math class. It is a combination of connecting with resources, study skills, time management and accountability support.

What a typical success plan looks like:

  • You will meet with an Instructional Specialist (Brie or Amelia).
  • A document is created to be shared with you and your instructor.
  • Some things your plan might include:
    • Creating a time management schedule.
    • Set up a plan to get caught up on course work.
    • Discuss study strategies and habits.
    • Go over test preparation and test taking strategies.
    • Connect with other campus resources.
