Transportation Options

LBCC Student Photo ID card Allows FREE Bus Travel
A validated LBCC student photo ID card allows you to ride FREE between educational sites on Albany Transit buses, the Linn-Benton Loop Bus and the Linn County Shuttle. You do not need to be a full-time student in order to obtain an ID card. ID cards are issued on the main campus in the Admissions Office, at the Benton Center in Corvallis, at the Lebanon Center and at the Sweet Home Center.

Ride Matching/Carpooling System
LBCC utilizes an electronic ride-matching/carpooling resource called AlterNetRides. This secure system connects prospective drivers and riders via email and has optional features like text messaging and advanced mapping. There is no charge to the user to register or utilize the system, and it can be used for business or personal trips!

Remember to use common sense when sharing a ride with someone you don’t know. Your personal safety is important! Please check the AlterNetRides Frequently Asked Questions page for tips on safety and security.
