December 9:  Know Your Roles/Know Your Rights

Lunch at noon, training begins at 12:45p.
Albany First Christian Church, 432 Ferry St. SW

Beans, rice and chile verde lunch provided by Taqueria Alonzo at noon.  The lunch, though free, requires a ticket that can be obtained at  You must register by 10 a.m. December 4.

Benton County District Attorney John Haroldson will speak from 12:45 to 1 p.m.  Presented by Rural Organizing Project, the trainings start at 1 p.m.  Rural Organizing Project has been organizing for justice in rural Oregon for 25 years.

"Know Your Roles" goes until 3 p.m. It will provide allies of immigrants with information about the detention industry and concrete ways to support people who are affected by it.  This training is available for a maximum of 70 people.

“Know Your Rights” will last longer.  This trianing is for immigrant families and will be presented in Spanish for maximum of 30 people.

January 4-6:  Navigating Difference for Students
