Parenting Programs and Workshops

LBCC Parenting Education partners with organizations and agencies in our area to offer classes that are free or very low cost to the parents of our community. Course times and locations vary, and topics in the past have included Effective Parenting of Teens, Living with your Middle Schooler, Make Parenting a Pleasure, and more.


Parent-Child Classes

Enjoy new songs, games, and activities with your child (birth through age 6). Meet other parents and children in your community, and learn how to support your child’s amazing development.


Periwinkle Child Development Center

LBCC partners with Kidco Head Start to offer infant/ toddler and preschool options to full-time LBCC students. Our program serves children from birth to 30 months, and 36 months to  5 years old. Families must meet federal Head Start guidelines. The center operates five days a week; 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM for our infant/toddler children and 8:45 AM – 3:05 PM for our 3, 4 and 5-year olds.
