Building a culture of STEM doesn’t need to be expensive, boring, or complicated. Educators just need simple, practical tools & ideas for adding STEM to their everyday classroom. Chris has spent years adding STEM to his own classroom, and his students love it! He’s shared these simple ideas at conferences, teacher in-service & professional development days, Zooming into classrooms, and on his own podcast and YouTube. He’s even written a book about Daily STEM to help educators build a STEM culture in their classrooms & communities!

Bio:

Chris Woods started “DailySTEM” to provide educators and families with simple STEM resources that connect the real world to learning. Our kids need to see that STEM is all around us…in the backyard, at the store, in our homes, on TV and movies, in the news… everywhere! Chris has been a High School Math teacher (Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Hands-on Geometry) for over 20 years in Michigan. He was named Calumet Public Schools 2013 Teacher of the Year.
