Energy Management

 

Purpose

To establish and use energy efficiency objectives and targets to drive performance improvements by reducing energy costs, improving overall campus utility efficiency, and reducing our carbon footprint.

 

Statement

All individuals who are obligating and spending LBCC resources are responsible for using college resources wisely. This policy will help reduce energy costs throughout all campuses, returning funds into the general funds that can be used towards deferred maintenance and back in the classroom. Each campus and employee will seek to reduce energy costs and water consumption.
