SSH Gallery hosts Artist Reception and Talk Oct. 24, 5 p.m.

Five Oregon street photographers who are currently exhibiting their work at Linn-Benton Community College will be on hand for a gallery talk and reception Thursday October 24 at 5 p.m. in the South Santiam Hall Gallery.

“Street Vision” features Portland photographers Lisa Gidley, George Kelly, Gary Gumanow and James Han, along with Blake Andrews of Eugene. Each of the five photographers in the show gathers his and her pictures from life on the streets, but each captures their art in different ways--some in color, some in black-and-white; some with traditional film cameras, some with iPhones.

The South Santiam Hall Gallery is located on the LBCC Albany Campus, 6500 Pacific Blvd SW, and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

The exhibit runs through Nov. 15.
