LB Launches new Roadrunner Advantage Program
A new program is being launched at Linn-Benton Community College to help first-time
college and high school students to get ahead of the curve and register early for
classes.
The Roadrunner Advantage Program is for prospective students who apply for admission
by November 30, 2019. Students who meet admission requirements will be eligible for
an exclusive priority registration for fall term 2020 classes.
“We are excited to offer the Roadrunner Advantage Program,” said Virginia Mallory,
director of LBCC High School Partnerships. “The idea for the program stems from several
years of collaboration with high school partners, who have been dedicated over the
past several years in assisting students over the summer as they transition to LBCC.
It is our hope that the early application and priority registration will help students
with their college preparedness as they make the transition from high school.”
Information sessions will be held through the month of October at local high schools.
Students can also visit a LBCC advisor on campus or at a LBCC center near them.
