Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technician is a full-time, 18-week certificate program designed for students looking to gain Oregon licensure to work in pharmacies throughout the state. Students going through the program thoroughly prepare to take the National Pharmacy Technician Certification test to become certified technicians. This is an ideal program for students looking for a stable career or in preparation for a career pathway into pharmacy.

Pharmacy technicians help pharmacists dispense prescription medications and measure dosages for customers or health professionals. They package and label prescriptions, organize inventory and alert pharmacists of any shortages in medications or supplies, and they work closely with patients and customers to meet their needs. They can work in both retail pharmacies or hospitals.

Join this growing field and train with our staff of instructors made up of real, licensed pharmacy technicians. Your career behind the counter awaits!
