Computer Resources and Labs

Free use for Linn-Benton Community College students
LBCC provides a wide variety of computer services, hardware, and software in support of instructional programs for general use by enrolled students. The college also provides special purpose computer labs for such programs as electronics, drafting, and graphic design. To serve community members not enrolled in classes at LBCC, non-credit computer lab hours can be purchased through open registration. A current ID card is required for use of the lab facilities.

In general, all computers run the Microsoft Windows operating system. Several labs also include support for MacIntosh users. For software descriptions, staff and hours of operation, select a location from the menu to the left.

The LBCC Forum Computer Lab and Learning Center Computer Lab are open a variety of hours seven days a week to meet the majority of student needs. Friendly service is provided by trained staff. Software programs available include everything from simple word-processing and spreadsheets to graphics, page layout, and programming languages. Software reference books and tutorials are available to guide individuals in learning new programs. Other computer labs which also serve as classrooms for a portion of each day are available at several locations on the Albany Campus.

Computer labs are also available at the Benton, Lebanon, and Sweet Home Centers.
