How to apply

Who is eligible to apply?
Any LBCC student is eligible to apply if fully admitted to the college, and meets at least one of the following criteria:
- Is a first-generation college student (your parents or the people who raised you did not graduate from a four-year college)
- Is low-income based on federal financial eligibility requirements
- Has a documented physical or learning disability
- Be fully admitted to LBCC
- Intend to achieve your degree at LBCC, or transfer to a 4 year college or university within 3 years, or to sign up for the OSU Degree Partnership Program within 2 years.
- Be a US Citizen or Legal Resident Alien
- Work with TRIO staff to develop a Personal Success Plan that will help you identify your goals and how to achieve them
- Commit to meeting with TRIO staff at least once each term to review your progress and develop recommendations for continuing your success
- Attend an initial orientation seminar and then one workshop each term
- Check with your instructors once during each term to discuss how you're doing in the class
- Commit to making your best efforts toward regular class attendance and timely completion of your work
