The center offers a wide variety of classes, at many convenient locations, through cooperation and partnerships with local school districts, libraries, community centers, and churches. Offerings range from transfer classes, personal growth and computer skills (some specifically for seniors), to adult self-improvement and enrichment classes. Popular lifelong learning classes are available in art, writing, historical exploration, foreign languages, physical fitness, outdoor experience, gardening, and travel adventure.

The center is closed on most Fridays except for the Friday before the term begins, and the first two Fridays of the term. The center is closed during the months of July and August, with a limited number of courses being offered during the summer.
