Developing Leaders:
Goals: Our goals are to provide students with opportunities to develop and enhance their leadership philosophy; gain practical leadership experience; and become better skilled in using a variety of leadership techniques and models.
Creating Opportunities:
Goals: Our goals are to increase opportunities for students to access education; reduce internal and external barriers to educational success; and to provide opportunities for practical life and human relations skills.
***Programs, Facilities, Organizations, Services***
Associated Student Government: Responsible for advising, training, and coordination of Student Government.
Student Programming Board: Responsible for advising, training, and coordination of the Student Programming Board. Annually, student activities serve approximately five thousand and three hundred students.
Student Ambassador Program: Student Ambassadors are a group of current Linn-Benton Community College students whose main purpose is the positive promotion of Linn-Benton Community College. They work in a variety of college settings and are a vital link between the students, the college, and the community
School Clubs: Are you interested in forming or joining a club? Come by Student Life and talk to Chelsea Ellertson, LBCC Club Coordinator, for more information. Clubs serve approximately four hundred and fifty students per term.
Student Union Lounge/Coffee House: Have you checked out the LCD flat panel television, two computer stations available to any and all students during operational hours, the easy chairs or bistro sets? And how about that coffee cart? Wait no longer, come on in and see what we have to offer!!!
Student Housing: Provide housing forms, information, distribution and maintain the housing information board.
Pass the Buck: Coordinate incoming and outgoing Pass-the-Buck communication. Pass-the-Buck is used to communicate ideas, suggestions, comments, etc.
Bulletin Board Supervision: Approve and date-stamp material to be posted and monitor posting areas.
Child Care Resource and Referral Series (CCR&R): Coordinate four workshops per year for the college community.
