If you answered "yes" to any one of the above statements, then Leadership LBCC may be for you.
Leadership LBCC is a seven month curriculum, presented in a workshop format once per month. It has been developed to provide training in topics ranging from team building to budget planning to the current and future role of community colleges.
Regardless of your current position, if you wish to expand your personal and professional skills, this program deserves your attention!

Leadership LBCC
Who: A cohort of approximately fifteen (15) employees representing classified, faculty and management groups of the college will be selected. Any member of the college who would like to engage more effectively with the organization is invited to apply. Supervisors will support Leadership LBCC by providing flexible work plans for their participants. Participants will be expected to attend all sessions.
What: Leadership LBCC is a seven month curriculum that includes training on leadership topics such as communication, team building, and decision making, and provides valuable exposure to LBCC's programs and services. It will be provided through formal training sessions and practical experiences.
Why: LBCC is committed to making a significant investment in its employees as leaders of the college. LBCC embraces the philosophy of shared governance and is dedicated to developing empowered leaders who encourage inclusiveness, innovation, and diversity.
When: Leadership LBCC will commence in October of 2012. Participants are committed to the program for seven months for once-a-month, day-long training sessions. Outside reading may be assigned. You must commit to attend each session for the entire day!
