Nursing Assistant Level 1

The Nursing Assistant course is a 150 hour class. It meets the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) hours for Nursing Assistant training. The course has 75 hours of class and skills lab instruction and 75 hours of clinical hours. This course includes instruction in basic nursing skills, restorative care, personal care skills and patient rights. You will learn to care for residents in a long term care environment. After completing the course, you will be eligible to take the CNA1 competency exam. This program is an excellent path into many health care careers.Please contact the facility directly for information on class availability, applications and schedules.

* Some classes may have dates which start in one term and end in another. Those classes are not Financial Aid eligible. Only classes which start and end within the limits of one college term are eligible for Financial Aid.
