There was an old man named Fermat

Who could write brilliant proofs on the spot.

But one day, to his shame,

He wrote down a grand claim,

But the proof, it would seem, he forgot.

1st Place Student: Kathy Davidson

Fractions, ratios, square roots and more

Some of our students deplore

But at LBCC

We fill them with glee

And have mathematicians galore.

There once was a teacher mathematical
Who at teaching square roots was fanatical.
Her students agreed,
That because of her speed,
She could be considered a radical.
