Tutoring Center

(541) 917-4697

If you are enrolled in a LBCC course for credit, you are eligible to use the Learning Center (free!) tutoring service. You can receive tutoring in the Learning Center, the Learning and Career Center at the Benton Center in Corvallis, or the Lebanon Learning Center. Our objectives for tutoring services are:

To provide academic assistance which maximizes your learning potential, academic performance, and adjustment to college;

  • To encourage you to develop a positive attitude and confidence in your ability to learn;
  • To help you become an independent learner;
  • To provide support to help you maintain high academic performance;
  • To provide instructional experience for tutors interested in pursuing teaching professions.

There are 3 steps you need to take before utilizing tutoring services.  They are:

  1. Know the tutoring program policies
  2. Know your responsibilities
  3. Get registered!

Click on each of the steps to read more.  Once you are familiar with each and have registered for tutoring, you will be able to make your appointments on-line with Tutortrac, here:  http://tutortrac.linnbenton.edu
