LBCC Awards History by Major

This document shows a five year history of awards by LBCC. Please remember that this is simply a count of awards and is not a reflection of "graduation rates." While certificate and/or degree completion is highly valued and encouraged, it is not required that students at LBCC apply for an award and many have success using their training-to-date to enter the job market prior to fully completing their degree requirements. LBCC also values transfer, some career technical students may change their intent of degree completion (or add to it) by moving on to a four-year program of study.

Please Note: Those departments interested in developing a protocol for estimating a program completion rate should contact Institutional Research.

Graduate Follow-Up Results

By using the following methods, LBCC knows a great deal about the success of graduates post-LBCC - employment, wage gains, transfer to a four-year school and graduate perceptions of the educational benefits from their time at LBCC:

  • a rigorous graduate follow-up survey 9 months post LBCC graduation;
  • Oregon Employment Department data; and,
  • National Student Clearinghouse enrollment and graduation data.

For overall information on employment and transfer of LBCC's graduates, please use the following link.

Program specific results for the 0910 year are posted in the following document. Programs have been given program specific graduate follow-up results over prior years. Please contact Institutional Research if you need the results for prior years again or have questions about this most recent data. We welcome your call.
