Placing a GroupWise AD

If you send a message which is not related to college business and is not a college sponsored activity (like kittens for sale, etc.), you should use the PUBLIC group and stop by the Business Office to pay for this ad. Be sure to place the words 'Paid Ad' in your message 'Subject:' line. The fee is $2.00.


On the other hand....

If you send a message that is for a volunteer/community organization (like tickets for a Rotary fund raiser), but is not college business, it should still be sent to PUBLIC but there is no fee.

or...

If you send a message that is a college sponsored activity but is a general interest message, it should be sent to PUBLIC. There is no fee. Examples of this are: sales in the bookstore, items of furniture for trade, notifications of brown bag lunches, exhibit or play openings, etc.
