Creating Address Groups

If the group you need to create is composed entirely of LBCC staff addresses, just go directly to the GroupWise Address Book, choose the addresses from the Novell GroupWise Address Book, and click the Save Group  button (bottom right). However, if your group needs to include external e-mail addresses, follow the method below.

Here is an easy way to create an address group using GroupWise:

Begin a new mail message. 
(The fastest way to do this is by using the Create New Mail icon, as shown below).


Enter all the addresses (see below).
(Do this just as though you are going to send a message to them all).

Then click the Address button.

Click the down-pointing triangle to the right of the 'Save Group...' button.

Choose the Addressbook you want this group saved in (see below). Your personal addressbook is recommended, as shown, rather than the  Frequent Contacts group!

Give your new group a Name
(in the Name area of the "New Group" window that appears)

Click OK.
