Study Abroad

LBCC currently offers four study abroad experiences as a member of the Oregon International Education Consortium (OIEC). The Consortium selects faculty and students to participate in it's study abroad programs. The Consortium consists of 7 Community Colleges in Oregon including:

The OIEC works with the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS), an international organization. They locate housing, purchase airline tickets, arrange for classrooms and fieldtrips, supply health insurance, and act as on site advisors. For more information, contact Kim in Admissions at (541) 917-4847 or  kim.sullivan@linnbenton.edu
Study abroad students are technically students with AIFS, but they receive credit through Linn-Benton Community College.

ADA Accommodations:
International trips are open to all students who meet the academic prerequisites and financial obligations. LBCC cannot guarantee that all trips to other countries will be accessible to every person with a disability. If you have a disability that may have an impact on your ability to fully participate in a trip, you must contact the LBCC Office of Disability Services Coordinator to discuss your needs. Advanced planning is critical. Physical accommodations and/or access to some venues will vary or may be non-existent in other countries. In addition, the nature of your disability may present accommodation barriers that could prevent you from participating in a particular trip. You must be prepared to provide documentation of your disability to ODS. You can find more information on this topic at: Additional Study Abroad Information:
