Negotiations Central
Classified
The current classified collective bargaining agreement will expire June 30, 2008. Preparation for bargaining is in full swing, and on September 26, 2007 the teams attended an all day workshop covering the topic of Interest Based Bargaining (IBB). Through this experience, it was evident that team members share a common interest in achieving an equitable settlement and preserving positive working relationships.
In January 2008, the College and the Independent Association of Classified Employees (IACE) will meet to begin the work of reviewing and resolving issues/ concerns associated with the current collective bargaining agreement. The members of the teams are as follows:
| College Colleen Clancy Marsha Fugate Jim Huckestein Jerry Wille | IACE Red Ayers Leta Brown Tammi Drury Annette Easdale Sandra LeHoullier John Sutter |
This message will be updated periodically as discussions progress and further information becomes available. If you are a classified employee and you have specific questions about the process, please contact Tammi Drury at x4577.
Faculty
In December 2006, the College reached agreement with the LBCC Faculty Association. The contract will remain in effect through June 30, 2011.
