Graduation
Important ! The deadline to order Cap and Gown for graduation has passed. Graduating students will need to stop by the distribution table in Takena Hall on May 30th 11-2 or May 31 11-2 and pay $30.00 to receive their cap and gown right then.
Guidelines for Graduation Application Timelines and Ceremony Participation
When to apply: You need to apply for graduation at least one term before completion. The graduation term you apply for should always be the actual term you are completing the requirements. Application deadline is at the end of the 4th week of the previous term (see chart at the bottom of this page).
Spring Commencement Ceremony Participation: You may participate in the ceremony at the end of your academic year of completion. Exceptions are Dental students who will be graduating at the end of the Summer may participate in the prior Spring ceremony. If you are within 12 credits of completion and will complete Summer term, you can participate in the Spring ceremony with a special request. Other exceptions are reviewed by the Registrar on a case by case basis.
Graduation Program Listing: Names of students who will complete by the end of Spring term will be printed in the graduation program. The exception is Dental students as noted in the above paragraph.
