 Early Education Partnership
The Early Education Partnership (EEP) at LBCC is a federally funded grant project which focuses on effective teaching strategies, curriculum, assessment, and early literacy. The Early Education Partnership brings together combined expertise to provide a higher quality, comprehensive program of professional development to early childhood educators in Linn and Benton counties.

EEP offers eligible participants opportunities to increase skills in their work with young children, a one-on-one mentor who is experienced in the early childhood field, financial assistance, and free training and socializing events with other early childhood professionals.

The program is designed to meet the needs of the working professional by offering:
  • assistance and guidance to beginning students
  • practicum credit for work experience
  • on-line courses
  • learning experiences that promote good assessment skills, using a strength-based approach
  • understanding child development and early literacy, play, and special needs of young children
  • many other opportunities and benefits (i.e.: class tuition and textbooks, special needs toy-lending library, access to professional organizations, special education consultations, etc.)
