How to Get Started

- If you are in need of disability support services we encourage you to begin the process as soon as possible. Some services can take up to six weeks to arrange. Planning ahead is very important.
- At college, you are responsible for providing current documentation of a disability to the school if you choose to use accommodations.
- The process for getting accommodations at LBCC is done in a two-part series. Each step is important.
Getting Started Steps
Step 1: Download the "Getting Started Packet" below and turn in to ODS, RCH-114.
Step 2: Once your "Getting Started Packet" is received by ODS you will be contacted in 2-4 weeks for an appointment to plan and discuss your accommodations.
Step 3: Open a student e-mail account (must be LBCC or OSU). LBCC Webmail
Step 4: Submit your student e-mail account to ODS.
Step 5: Schedule your Part II training session when steps 1-4 is completed.

To have forms mailed to you, please call our office at 541-917-4789 and ask for a Getting Started packet or e-mail ods@linnbenton.edu You may also pick up a packet in the Red Cedar Hall, room 114. Other locations include: the Benton Center, BC-222 or the Lebanon Center, front desk.
