Majors and Programs | Instructors

The Computer Systems Department offers three two-year degree programs as well as providing courses for transfer students in the technical and professional programs.

The Computer Systems Department offers a two-year Associate of Science degree with a major emphasis in Computer Science designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a baccalaureate degree in Computer Science. Students enrolling in this program should have a strong aptitude for mathematics and the logic of problem solving.

The Business Computer Systems program develops graduates able to successfully enter the job market in a variety of business computer related fields. The student learns to apply training in accounting, current business programming languages, various application programs and analysis skills to solving actual business problems.

Computer User Support classes prepare students for entry-level positions that provide technical support, assistance, troubleshooting, training and documentation to end-users.
