Career Information

The Career and Counseling Center offers a broad range of career planning tools and job search information for students and community members. Browse the links on the left for more information.

Career Assessments

Free - Career Information System (CIS)
CIS is a computerized career exploration program that includes tools for self-assessment, career exploration, goal-setting and decision-making. It also includes Oregon-based labor market information, financial aid resources and education and training information. For a self-guided CIS assessment, please click on the link, Self-Guided CIS How-to If you are needing more assistance, please call (541)917-4780 and we can make an appointment for you to meet with a Career and Employment Specialist.

For a Cost - SII & MBTI Assessments
With an LBCC counselor referral, people may take either the Strong Interest Inventory (SII) or the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and use the results to assist in their career exploration process. The SII helps people identify their interests and how they connect with careers while the MBTI helps people see the connection between personality characteristics and job satisfaction. Call (541) 917-4780 and ask to make an appointment with Charles for the SII or an appointment with Mark for the MBTI.
