Alternative Spring Break

Travel, do good, earn credit, & have fun! What a great combination!

Another exciting option open to all students is to participate in the Alternative Spring Break Experience. Student Life & Leadership in partnership with LBCC's Service Learning Department is offering one transferable, elective credit to students who are selected to participate in the Alternative Spring Break Experience. Selected students will travel to an out of town location and help a Habitat for Humanity Chapter build homes for people in need by participating in Habitat's Collegiate Challenge. You pay only $100.00 plus the registration fee for service learning leadership. Transportation, housing and food are paid for by LBCC and Habitat for Humanity. Excursion trips to nearby attractions as well as other opportunities to explore the area are a side benefit to participants.
