ESOL
Do you want help with your English? For your job? For your studies? For your family? For your community?
The ESOL department works with students who are speakers of other languages who want to improve their English language skills.
ESOL offers classes in reading and writing and speaking and listening at the LBCC's centers. We also offer multi-level ESOL classes in Lebanon, Sweet Home and Harrisburg as well as a beginning-level class at Calapooia Middle School in Albany. We have a Language Laboratory and ESOL Help Desks in Albany and Corvallis.
How do I start?
All students who want to take ESOL classes must attend two Orientation sessions. You may start ESOL class in Week 1 or in Week 6. There is a $25 enrollment fee per term per student that allows you to take as many ESOL classes as you want.
