Financial Aid

We're here to help current and prospective students understand the requirements and procedures of the financial aid process.
Financial aid at LBCC is intended to help students who are unable to pay the full cost of a college education. Funds from grants, loans, and/or part-time employment are intended to supplement family and student resources.
Financial aid advisors are available to see students on a drop-in basis from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday. If you would like a longer appointment, you can schedule one by calling the financial aid office.
If you are a transfer student applying for Federal financial aid, you must have your prior college credits transferred to the Registrar's Office at LBCC and request a transfer credit evaluation and degree audit.
Generally, financial aid is awarded at full-time enrollment status (12 or more credits). You must notify the financial aid office if your enrollment is other than full-time for any term.
Student records are private and confidential information and can only be accessed by the student. If you want your information released to another individual, you must complete the 'Information Disclosure Authorization' form and submit it in person, with picture identification, to the Financial Aid office.
You may log on to the Student Information System (SIS) http://sis.linnbenton.edu to check your financial aid status and/or print requested forms. Login instructions are provided when you enter the system.
