ITEC Grants

ITEC Grant Application (pdf)

This grant is for personnel costs for developing a new eLearning Project (any educational content delivered in, or using, digital format or technology, such as an online course, hybrid course, lab, or a reusable, sharable, online resource for faculty and/or students). ITEC Grant Applications are reviewed twice each term and are due by Friday (of either the 2nd or 6th week of the term) to Vickie Keith in IA 232A.

After filling out the electronic form, please print it out, have it signed, and submit to Vickie Keith in IA 232A. Please also click the "submit by email" button on the form so that we have an electronic copy of the unsigned document in our electronic files before the paper document arrives.

Please note the following changes on the new application form:

  1. Social Security # is no longer requested.
  2. Types of eLearning projects to be funded are listed on the application.
  3. Your former training is asked to determine training needs
  4. Grants are reviewed twice per term and limited to the equivalent of 3 fully online courses per term. (i.e. if 3 are granted the 4nd week of the term, there may not be enough funds to grant more the 8th week of the term)
  5. Grants are due by the end of the 2nd and 6th weeks of the term for development in the following term or later (payment is made when projects are developed).
  6. The term the course or resource will be made available to staff or students MUST be after the term the project is developed.
  7. The time needed to develop a project that is not an online course can be estimated.
  8. Development activities have been incorporated into the timeline on the form for convenience in planning.
  9. The form is electronically fillable and may be submitted through email in addition to submitting the paper document after printing and having signed (this will help us keep track of the data).
