The mission of the Adult Basic Skills Development (ABSD) Program encompasses basic skills instruction for adults. The program provides:

  • Opportunities for students to learn necessary life and job skills
  • Opportunities for non-native speakers to improve English language skills, and
  • Opportunities for person unable to complete high school in a traditional way.
