Along with showing English proficiency for admission, all incoming international students must also take the college placement tests (CPT).
Starting March 18, 2017, LBCC will no longer be accepting the general reading placement or vocabulary tests for admission. On that day, all international students will be asked to take the ESL Accuplacer reading test.
For admission, students must score an average of 95 on the reading, sentence meaning, and listening portions of the placement tests.
- Visit LBCC's CPT website for help studying or making an appointment.
- You may proctor the test abroad by setting up BVirtual by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once admitted, all students must take the writing and math placement tests before they can register for classes.
Students wishing to retest in order to place into higher math or writing classes may do so at their own cost.
