Getting
Started-
The State of Oregon Child Care
Division regulates child care in Oregon. If you care for more than 3 children in your
home, you are required to register with the Child Care Division. To become registered,
providers need:
- Current 1st aid/infant-child CPR card
- Current food handler's permit
- To attend a class on recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect
- To attend a Child Care Division Overview class
- A home health review with a child care specialist from the State
